1.1)  I understand and accept that this is part time work only and depends on the demand of the Film & Commercial Industry; therefore, work is not guaranteed.

1.2)  I understand and accept that this is a seasonal industry which means that work may vary from summer to winter.

1.3)  Should I be confirmed for a job, and either report late for the job or not report for duty at all, without contacting the agency and giving them fair warning so a replacement can be made, will result in a fine. Unless a valid doctor’s certificate is provided.

1.4)  I understand and do not hold The 39 Steps Casting Agency responsible for any late payments due to client or production companies` late or non-payment. I understand and agree that I will only be entitled to receive payment when The 39 Steps Casting Agency has received payment from the client/production company. The39steps will endeavor to ensure timely updates however it is at the artist discretion to accept the work.

1.4.1) Payments runs start on the 15th and the 30th of each month.

1.5)  In the event of work completed, I authorize The 39 Steps Casting Agency to invoice for my services on my behalf, as required and to deduct their agency fees and PAYE tax from my remuneration prior to issuing payment to me. I also grant The 39 Steps Casting Agency the power of attorney in respect of contracts negotiated for work on my behalf.

The fee’s are subject to change and are posted at The39steps office and can be verified by phoning 0215562767.

1.6)  I agree and understand that it will be my own responsibility to arrange and pay for my transport to and from a job and it will not be the responsibility of The 39 Steps Casting Agency to arrange and/or pay for such transport on my behalf.

1.7)  I will not hold The 39 Steps Casting Agency responsible for any incorrect banking details supplied by myself. All changes to bank account details must be e-mailed to info@the39steps.co.za

1.8)  I will not hold The 39 Steps Casting Agency or its partners or employees responsible for any personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged on or off set. This includes parking tickets and stolen phones given to security on set.

1.9) I understand that when work has occurred the production company is the party who has deducted the PAYE and will submit the IRP5 unless stipulated otherwise. The PAYE may vary from job to job according to what is suitable. In the relevant tax season it is up to me to retrieve your IRP5’s with the help of The39steps. I can request all the relevant details via email at accounts@the39steps.co.za .

1.11) I understand it is not The39steps’s responsibility to ensure I am valid to work in South Africa , that it is up to me to make sure all my documentation is in order and not hold The39steps responsible for non-payment due to the above.

1.12)  I hereby grant The 39 Steps Casting Agency the power of attorney in respect of contracts negotiated for work on my behalf.

1.13)  If I decide to terminate this contract with the 39 steps casting agency, to sign an exclusivity agreement with another agency, I will email a notice of this to info@the39steps.co.za 6 months prior to the termination of this contract.

1.14)  I have read The 39 Steps Casting Agency agreement and agree with all and understand the information supplied.

1.15)  The personal information supplied by me in this registration form as well as my Identification documents are legal, true and correct.

Hereby declare that I have read, understand & accept the terms & conditions for joining The 39 Steps Casting Agency set out above. And give permission to The 39 Steps Casting Agency as my agent to sign on my behalf.
